The Great Mesoamerican Reef is the second largest reef in the world, making the Riviera Maya and Cancun ultimate spots for snorkeling and diving.  There are over 30 dive sites that offer stunning scenery.  Given how close the reef is to the shore at Puerto Morelos, snorkelers can just wade right in and enjoy all of its beauty.

Further inland, the unique subterranean river system of the region creates incredible memories that will last a lifetime at Xplor Park and Rio Secreto Natural Reserve.  Here visitors can experience a complete underworld of cenotes, caves and pools.

The Costa Esmeralda, near Veracruz on the Gulf of Mexico, has a total of 11 soft coral reefs that are dotted with brain coral, sponges and also shipwrecks.  You can dive and snorkel beside sea lions and giant squid in the Sea of Cortez, located right on Baja Peninsula.
