Boehringer Ingelheim – “Caribbean Party”

TYPE OF THE PROJECT: Boehringer Ingelheim Party during the IPVS Congress in Cancun

AUDIENCE: 600 veterinaries from all over the World (China – South Korea – Canada – Germany – United States – Australia – New Zealand – Belgium – Brazil – Denmark – Indonesia – Italy – Japan – Malaysia – Mexico – Austria – Philippines – Chile – Colombia – South Africa – Spain – Taiwan – Thailand – The Netherlands – England)

BRIEF: Every year, in different parts of the world, the IPVS Congress is held. In 2014, the location was Cancun, Mexico. Boehringer Germany organized a private party to thank its top-class clients (winning veterinaries) as part of this international congress. SAT Mexico took care of the organization of this Caribbean-themed dinner party, with a tequila and mezcal tasting, a Caribbean dance performance, Batucada, live music, in the best location and most exciting nightclub of Punta Cancun.

THE CLIENT: Boehringer Ingelheim Germany

VENUE: Mandala Beach Club Cancun – exclusive Beach Club in the most beautiful beach of Cancun – at the heart of Cancun Hotel Zone.


  • To find an original theme to surprise participants and to develop it in an adequate way so that participants would experience it as a break from other events during the congress.
  • Once the theme was chosen, the original montage had to be modified because of sudden weather changes, in order to ensure an optimal experience for the 600 participants. In doing so, we had to arrange a huge tent in less than 5 days and install it on the beach.
  • To plan on-site logistics and to coordinate the pick-up schedules for the invitees, taking into account precise transfer times.
  • To provide complete event coordination before and during the event, managing staff of various suppliers such as hotel staff, security staff, waiters at different event venues, production specialists, drivers, clients, SAT staff, external guides for special excursions, and VIP assistance.
